A110 Exhaust valve fault

My '23 A110 suddenly started making a loud clacking noise from behind last week. Took it into the new Alpine centre, SMC in Weybridge, Surrey. They have diagnosed it to a fault in the exhaust. The part will take a couple of weeks to come from France, frustrating wait but at least its covered under warranty. Anyone else had this?

Yes my 72 plate did the same. It’s the exhaust sport mode valve and requires a new exhaust as the part is integral. I left mine in normal mode until it was replaced and never heard it. It would only ever occur in sport mode.

Thanks, on mine it was only in normal mode initially, the garage said if I used it in sport would be OK. It wasn't.
How long did the part take?

Lucky if it is under warranty.
The valved exhaust is appr. 10000 Euro - at least in Austria

Alpine Banbury actually had one in stock so no time at all. That was May last year.
