Evening all,

This is highly likely to be a silly question, but on F1 TV is there any actual car on track video coverage via the app or is it just live timing info etc followed by the highlight show?

Many thanks,

GoM

F1TV Pro are showing the last hour of each session live. and then a 30 minute roundup in the pitlane shortly afterwards.

Thanks - that's what I thought but I can't access the live sessions for some reason.

Make sure your VPN is connected to a valid country.
Do not use USA, as on my phone F1TV app wants me to login to Apple TV when VPN is set to USA.

I did think that the Apple TV thing might be screwing things up so I changed the country to Germany, but it didn't make any difference.

I'll continue to play with the settings to see if it decides to play ball.

Thanks for the heads up.

Sorted - a full logout and log back in again of the F1 TV app has done the trick. I can now view more options and have access to the previous days live running sessions.

It does appear that having my VPN previously set to US and using AppleTV etc was causing the problem. I noticed that once I'd logged out it was trying to use different login credentials/options via Apple rather than my normal F1 TV login info.

So I'm guessing that's to do with new broadcasting rights for Apple in the USA, but as they they don't begin until March there may be some limitations. However, does that potentially mean that after March you don't need to pay for F1 TV if you login via this new method and set the VPN to US......

Thanks again. I can now stop cursing and throwing my teddies about. biggrin

Don't use Germany when the season starts, as F1TV is not available due to Sky Deutschland having exclusive rights, just like the UK.

You can check the countries where F1TV live streaming is available here
