What are there so many unemployed Doctors?
Discussion
We keep being told the NHS would collapse without immigration, yet over half of UK trained doctors can’t get a job.

1. Because it takes so long to train a doctor, 4 - 6 years for the medical degree & 2 years of foundation training to get to the point of the article. And given most med schools want quite a bit at entry, not just A* a levels, you really need to add another 2 - 3 years to that. 10 years is a LONG time in https://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/news/pulse-careers/ha...
2. Immigration =/= demand for doctors. This is more about the other end of the pay scale.
