Blobeye WRX - rust below rear window/around edge of boot

Been to view a WRX - spotted this.

Is it indicative of bigger problems underneath? Or is this a known issue that isn't too scary?

Appreciate any advice or experience shared.

They do tend to rust from inside out , get it on some ramps and have a thorough inspection imho .
