Given the debacle over the Wheeltorque-folding-thing, were you there and affected and out of pocket?

Peter,

Yes I did attempt to attend AB and yes I am currently out of pocket, although not as much as some people as I only booked the track time with Wheeltorque and paid via Circuit Driver using a CCard. Thankfully the track time is now beening refunded.

Imagine how I felt having got up at 5.30am, drove from Northants to the Spa cicuit. Just pulling out of the garage in Spa when I get a call off the guys I'm meeting, telling me the Ring is cancelled.

So thats £140 for a seacat crossing and £120 in fuel down the drain. At least I could cancel the hotel we'd booked at the Ring.

Even now we don't know why the Ring was cancelled, according to Wheeltorque the day was given to BMW at the last moment!!!! There are rumours that WT are bankrupt, yet they have just issued a claim form for people's expenses. At this moment in time I don't have a clue whats going on.....
