For those of you who receive Channel 5 either in the UK or via
satellite/cable:

We have just been informed by Channel 5 that the Lotus Sport Exige 240R
will
be featured in the first programme of the new Fifth Gear series this
evening
(Monday 10 October 2005) at 20:00 on Channel 5.

Will someone please tell me what the point is of pitting a £45k stripped out road legal track car against a £65k Carrera? If all you can afford is £45k, the Porsche is irrelevant and anyone with £65k is probably going to have the Porsche anyway because the Exige isn't even a rival.

What next, an Astra VXR against a Citroen C2?

I would have the Exige over the Porsche. The Carrera is a girls car.
