We stayed at the one near Bath a few times, is really good - nice atmosphere and food with great gardens if the weather is good.

Had a meal at the Pig near bath, it was pretty underwhelming given the price. Lovely place though.

We’re staying at the Pig at Combe next month. £450 a night room only. I hope it’s good.

Have stayed at the Brockenhurst and South Downs sites. The former was about six/seven years ago but remember it being decent even if the room (in main house, first floor) was a little small.
The latter, last year, room was a standalone one by the veggie patches which was great but felt more this time like I was being rinsed every time I left the room!

Land Rover paid for me to stay at the Pig at Combe when I did my experience day nearby which was a nice touch. Very nice hotel, the bar area is very pleasant, and the food was great. We took our own wine and paid corkage as we had some nice stuff that had been sat in the rack for a long time, their own wine list is great but a bit punchy price wise.

I live not too far from the Pig in the forest, I’ve eaten there dozens of times and most of the time it’s been really good so you’re in for a pleasant evening. I’ve never stayed at that one though.
