How often should I do an oil service and full service? G30

Hi all, I have a 2019 Petrol G30 5 series with 45k miles on the clock.

When I bought it last year bmw did a full service on it , this year I have done an oil change, oil filter and cabin filter service.

Should I next perform a full service again and then the year after an oil service and cabin filter again and keep rotating like this? Or is that overkill?

Looking to keep the car as long as possible and from what I’ve read BMW service intervals are far too spread.

Mainly do short journeys totalling 5-6k a year.

The key is the oil and filter. Just do that annually (given that you do 5-6k/yr) and you'll be fine.

I do my oil every two years on a G31 540i and an M2C.

No issues.
