Whilst travelling through NZ, we came across this McDonald’s in Taupo where it is possible to eat your happy meal in a DC-3. We didn’t; indeed I can’t even remember the last time I did eat in that chain.

No cheese, no onions, no gherkins and no bacon. Just a plane burger, please.

In that case, you might prefer Bakfickan in Malmö, which does rather tasty burgers, a nice selection of beers (although being Sweden is about £10 a pint!) and has a Mig-15 inside, though you can't sit in it.

Not quite on brief, but there is an ideally situated In-n-Out burger at the end of the runway at LAX!

McDonalds on the end of runway 27 at Schiphol is a nice place to sit and watch the planes.

Oaty and Joey in Guernsey

We designed the steel framed building, Imagine the meeting when half way through the build the client said we want to hang a trislander from the ceiling

That reminds me of the large models which used to hang inside Telford Services on the M54. A Harrier and some thing else, memory a bit vague!

I was always sad to see them gone.
