Used Stelvio: Does 2020FY justify 5-7K price difference?
Discussion
I am planning to replace my 2016 Audi Q3, and Stelvio is currently our preferred choice. I am currently doing about 10K per year and looking to spend maybe circa £25K on the car, ideally with an approved used guarantee or similar.
My current trips are mostly very local school/town runs, but that should change next year, with a slightly more balanced mix of local and 20-mile one-way trips as the nature of my work changes. My other car is an E89 Z4.
Now browsing Autotrader, I see a big gap between pre-2020 MY and later models. For example, I am looking at a one listed in NI by apparently a main dealer (cant include the link as this is my first post) which has just missed out on the facelift: 2020 model, 2.2 Diesel, 50K miles, priced at £20.5k and comes with 12 months warranty and timing belt done.
By contrast, the closest diesel 2021 model does have half the miles but costs £27K? Or I would have to go petrol, but still the prices would be 24-25K ballpark.
So, I guess the questions I have:
does the 2020FY justify the 7K price difference
does anyone know anything specifically about the car on sale in the link above?
(i can see it is in NI and that does not bother me, might even be easier and cheaper to fly there for me compared to some other options)
Thanks!
