50 amp = L amp

Watts = Volts x Amps, so 100 watt, 2 Volts gives 50 Amps, and L is Roman 50.

I don t do cryptic crosswords but that s very clever. I d got the 50 amp bit (because engineer) but converting it to Latin? Genius.

I know many of the rules and can often see how it works when I know the answer but I really struggle to work them out in the right way.
