How to get carplay available on a 2018 Mercedes c220d
Discussion
After a recommendation on here I bought one of these for an older vehicle
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CPL4DC3M
It s not the neatest thing in the world, but it s dirt cheap and it works
Ps: to play music it would need a mini-in audio jack on the car radio

Or get one of these from Aliexpress, similar principle, but plays over a spare FM frequency, we've got 2 in older vehicles.
It's very often on offer, I got it for £16 which is dirt cheap.

I would always go for one that uses the Aux to feed into the head unit. The ones that use the FM frequency are pretty poor sound quality and lot signal a lot.
Yes, if you can, however I've used this over FM for 6 months now and haven't noticed any losses. The technology seems to be much better from the early FM transmitters.Gassing Station | In-Car Electronics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
