Out and about in Leeds last night I was passed by a six wheeled vehicle I've never seen before. Delivering a Starbucks oat milk latter with cinnamon syrup and marshmallow sprinkles to a student house.
When I looked around there were others loitering with intent on street corners. Very clever little chaps that seem to have collision radar and persistent desire to get a Big Mac to his destination.
The future could be coming faster than you think.

These are a great idea but Northampton has them before Leeds.

Me and the Mrs were waiting at a pedestrian crossing in Northampton when one of these rolled up and waited at the crossing with us. When the lights changed, it crossed the road and then went on it's way.

I just have visions of these being flipped on to their lids by funny funsters.

Perhaps they have a self righting mechanism.

I can see that ending badly if they're out and about at closing time.

Don't expect a speedy delivery if they have to use a level crossing.

I'd be a bit upset if I'd spent 3 grand on an electric bike and a career in UBER eats only for the robot to take my life plan away .

Not round here they won't. Nearest Starbucks is 170 mile round trip.

I can't work out if they're incredibly cute or frighteningly sinister. Sometimes the line between the two can be very thin.

E.T.A. my Pistonheads response which is whether these are really "six wheel drive". Has anyone lifted one to see if each axle is driven? Could just be a 2x6... nerd

If Uber Eats can figure out how to add an attachment that enables it to also mow your lawn I think they may be onto a winner.

We've had these for 4-5yrs. I think this is more a case of Leeds catching up rather than seeing the future biglaugh

Very useful (quick and easy) for housebound people or lazy people.

They are home, as well as claiming 'asylum' they've claimed the country!
