I've started thinking about something for a continental road trip in the late summer. Having done a little work on a Griffith 400 and a Chimaera in the past, I've spotted a V8S for sale that might fit the bill. Was wondering whether anyone knows J521LLW? Thanks

Lots of discussions on this one on the Faceache ‘S’ group, it’s been up for auction but didn’t selll. Although it’s just had a fresh MOT it looks as though it’s been off rhe road since 2018 so will probably require some recommissioning.

Thanks, I hadn't thought to look there!
Recommissioned isn't a problem; I used to do a bit of that for a dealer at one time.

Sadly it's all very quiet on here these days, you'll find a lot more activity on the S Facebook group.

That V8s does look a bargain but there must be some reason it failed to make its modest reserve and is now being offered for what seems like a give away £10k ?

Thanks, I've applied to join the FB group. A pal of mine has a half share in a 290S and likes it, so that's part of the appeal.
