Bike market suddenly taken off
Discussion
I have been looking at a cheap second bike . Something low cost and different to my main bike KTM adventure.
I have looked for about 2 weeks. Been to look at a couple.
So today I decided to buy .
Called back the first one sold yesterday, called the next option sold yesterday. Just exchanged Watts app with third option at a dealer, they took a deposit today.
The sun has only been out three days
Missed the boat I guess. Now I will wait to end of year poor weather again.
All speed triples btw 955 and 1050.

Why wait? Say you have to pay another 300 quid now there are less "winter bargains" about is it worth losing a year? Or to put it another way - if you had a nice speed triple in the garage right now, if someone walked up to you and said "I'll give you £300 right now, but you can't touch that thing until November" would you take it?
In the last years I've come to the impression the main season for buying bike-related stuff is January. Christmas presents all bought and gotten rid off, depressing weather for weeks, no new stuff for the coming season in.
It's when you have these huge bike gear stores all by yourself on a weekday. Best time to make the bigger investments.
We've had a dry week in February, and the choice of stock has already taken it's toll in both, used bikes and last season's gear.
