Aston martin vantage v8 vs mclaren 570 s
Discussion
Hi, lately my business has been going well and I'm thinking of buying a used 570s.
I have the vantage v8 2006 which is my dream is perfect, beautiful used every day, elegant and with timeless lines
Just a beautiful car
But I miss the rear engine, the short front bonnet and I was looking for a mclaren 570s
The doors are like a supercar, The line is rougher but still beautiful.
I studied the v8 Turbo and is a point against McLaren, as is the assistance and some known problems.
I'm afraid I regret buying the mclaren for my aston
I can't keep two. At the very least I could buy the mclaren, if I then realize that I have the wrong choice I sell it and buy the Aston again.
What would you do?

I like McLaren as well, but they are definitely supercars, while the Vantage is more of a sport GT. I looked into a 12C some time ago but definitely decided against for the lack of GT factor, namely better comfort, bigger boot, more room. I do have a daily, but I very much like being able to take my current 2020 Vantage to do whatever I want. But this might not be important to you, maybe?
Also, I believe you are based in Sardegna, every service would be a nightmare, no? I also don't think they are many Aston specialists on the island, but at least the VH V8 engine is a fairly easy engine to maintain compared to the McLaren. Don't also forget road conditions, a 570S will scrape absolutely everywhere there.
Finally, reliability, I have heard some bad stories about McLaren, here and in real life, do some researches.
But surely the 570S, performance-wise, is absolute in another league that your current Vantage.
