I thought it worth starting this to track PH'ers journeys with their 6N's. There's a 5N thread, so why not?!

Myself - I've just ordered a 6N on 18 month lease. I've never driven one, let alone sat in one. My Hyundai experiences so far are (a) my boss having a Sonata that he described as "Cheap Korean Crap" on many occasions (this was early 90's), and (b) I sat in a 5N and had a really decent dealership experience a few weeks ago.

I initially wanted a 5N but I think the few subtle improvements and 'fastback' shape swung it for me. One of the good things with these cars is the lack of options. They are pretty much fully loaded with the only option being Vision Roof, which I didn't opt for.

I've gone for Nocturne Grey:

I'm expecting the car to land in the docks 'towards the end of March' and will be road-tripping to go and collect it. I'm very excited!

It will be replacing my RS Megane that I sold last weekend cry and our Tesla Model 3 goes back in April.

Good idea - watching with interest as im on the fence but close to pulling the trigger on one of these for commuting and general A to B 'ing, hard to ignore the current lease deals on boht 5 and 6N. seems to have had incredible reviews so far but none have hit dealerships or UK soil for realworld UK testing yet.

would you be able to share the lease deal you've gone for? seems to be a few around the £340 a month mark with 12 months down, 18month duration and 6k a year.

I think the first shipment is arriving at the end of March, and that's when my car is supposed to be coming.

This is similar to my deal but I think these cars are June delivery. If you want something by end of March or end of April, drop me a note and I'll send you the details of the guy I'm dealing with as I believe they've still got some 'unsold'.

I'm pretty sure this is the boat that the first delivery of 6n's is on. Scheduled to arrive in Tilbury on 21st March.

Don’t see any 6N leases that are close to 5N now?

This one

This isn't the deal I've gone for but it's very similar.

Yeah I think there's a slightly cheaper deal floating around, but I don't think those cars are available until July. I've already sold my car so I'm happy to pay a bit more to have one of the first in the country!

I have to say, the cynic in me is still a little bit dubious about it all working out but fingers crossed

Nice! Do you know when it's due to land at the docks? I'm told mine will be at the docks on 21st, which is the boat I'm tracking on the link further up the thread.

The black is lovely - I was tempted.

My dealer will just say it's coming in to dock on the 21st, which is fair enough. It then needs to get from Tilbury to the dealership so I'm hoping to collect within a week of the 21st! I will drop everything to do so! hehe

This doesn’t get old for me…

Make sure you run it in gently and don’t over rev it for the first 1000miles !!

I'll just make sure to not use that fake gear mode, then there's no chance of over-revving hehe

Normally spec a car for resale but since it's lease black will do 🤣 they ordered numerous cars their selves so I'm assuming it will be on the same boat as yours been told it will deffo be with me by April though but might not be registered
