Doesn't the Belgrano in 1982 count?

Belgrano? Also Khukri of the Indian Navy in 1971.

I think you can see it bend.

Most likely a Mk48 ADCAP torpedo doing what it does best - exploding underneath the ship, breaking it back, leading to a rapid sinking.

HMS Conqueror wants a word, and comes with a certain reputation...

Or another way of looking at it is that you were viewing at least 80people dying in that 36seconds of amazing footage.

He was still probably drunk when he gave that press conference.

Monumental numnutz that he is, he was probably just talking about action taken by the US Navy.

I just watched it back . He said nobody had been able to do this before. He doesn't know about WW2 clearly. He said only the USA can do this .
He is the absolute definition of a Moron.
It's like watching a really bad film on some little known channel about 300 plus up the list well after CBB's

Americans are very US-centric. He's probably never heard of the tiny conflict in Nowheresville when he was two years old.

Didn't exactly look a perfect hit, seemed to be right at the stern while I seem to remember aiming for the middle was the thing that would really tend to terminally snap it.

Obviously did the job either way.

It's not really war though, is it? More of a Special Operation.

It's already lasted 4 days, so well past Russia's 3 days in Ukraine.

The gloating is stomach churning. Pathetic. Trump's lot (him included) all talk like teenagers on Nitrous. They're 'terrible' people when you can't think of the right word. He has dementia, I'm sure of it.

Puts the sombre announcements during the Falklands War in perspective, I was in 6th form then. frown

Looks like the weapon exploded right under the props, so acoustic homing?

So the fourth ship sunk in action by a submarine since WW2, second sunk by a nuclear powered submarine.
