Seen an advert, sign up setup two DD's and deposit 4k and get 400 smackers.

Ive got a lloyds current account but DDs i cam switch, also got 4k under my bed luckily but in a AER account.

Whats the catch if i deposit in run the direct debits i know about across from my other current account then move the 4k out?

I believe it’s a full switch from Lloyds in your case which has to include 2 dd’s.

Are they still doing free Apple TV with the account too? I know I'm still getting it...

Correct, it is a full switch so they will automatically close your old account. There was an issue when I did mine so I ended up with £500 for the switch 😎

I'm not 100% sure that point wasn't lost on the Op though.
Apologies Op if it wasn't !

It's a full switch - I did it late last year and got my £400 pretty quickly.

We had a starling joint account, created two starling personal accounts, moved Gym and Mobile phone direct debits. Then moved to Barclays got £400 automatically in about 4-6 weeks if i recall correctly. Really easy.

Just opened this account and initiated the switch. Does the £4k in requirement need to be done after the switch or any time within 30 days of opening? As the info on the website seems to suggest pay it in after the switch:

https://www.barclays.co.uk/current-accounts/premie...

1. Open an account
2. Complete a full switch
3. Pay in £4,000

Never mind - if you click the criteria hyperlink it states:

Step 3: Add £4,000 into your account
Make sure at least £4,000 is paid into your new Barclays account within 30 days of opening it.

This can be done as a balance transfer when you use the Current Account Switch Service, or in instalments.
