Handy for the pub....

Garage looks huge in the pictures. If it was all living accommodation the house would be pretty immense.

What a bizarre place

Looked up the planning permission and there is sadly only the Decision Notice available online.

Would love to know why it was built like that

Don't like the bathroom arrangements. All en-suite but one has bath only, the other two have shower only.

I'm not normally a fan of the open plan style houses but I think for this I would want to open up the kitchen/dining areas. I would also like some sort of see through floor in the sitting room that would allow you to see the beautiful car collection (mess) of the garage below.

First floor living rooms and kitchen are a PITA if you like things like alfresco dining

Great for a batchelor with a love for cars. The lack of garden not so great for family life though.

That was my first thought too, I love this but I can't see the Mrs selling up to move there

Ideal when the only outside area is a 1st floor roof terrace accessed from the dining room though

Presumably the interesting cars were removed before taking the photos.

Got one myself.

House 270m2
Garage 300m2

Get about 20 cars in it.

House was built by a villain ,used it as a chop shop for exotics stolen across Portugal before he got busted

I looked at a house that was part of an old garage, still had a 19602ish petrol pump outside.

The house itself was average size, had a couple of rooms downstairs, then living space and bedrooms upstairs that extended over the workshop. The workshop was something like 15m wide and then 30 metres deep. It was absolutely epic. But also nowhere near any good schools so I got properly veto'd unfortunately.

Do you worry he'll turn up one night at 3am looking for a bag of cash?

The bricked-up window is a bit peculiar.
