I'm wanting to start 3 x new HL cash ISAS's for the family that I can view and manage on the HL app, but before I enter any rabbit holes I need to know the best way of doing it.

I already have a HL account with a stocks & shares ISA that I set up a few years ago, with the HL app on my phone to track it etc. I want to start another HL ISA (cash) for me this month, and also one for the wife, and another for my 19yr old son, so 3 in total. I want to be able to log into each of their HL accounts to view and manage them etc.

I guess I can start my new ISA with my existing HL account, but I assume I would need to create 2 x new HL accounts for the wife & son, with each account being in their names. However as I'll be the one setting them up, managing and viewing the accounts then I'll need access via the HL app (they can have access too).

So would I need to create 2 x new HL accounts (one for each of them) in their names and each with different log ins? Could I then simply use the same HL app and just log into whichever ISA I want to view, whether that be mine, the wife's or our sons?

They will need their own account initially but they can then be linked to yours.

You can link them and control them all through your account. I do this for our 4.

I think only thing you cant do is add funds or withdraw funds without specifically logging into their accounts but you can do everything else including buying and selling.

This.

I also manage S&S ISA's for my partner and our kids. Its simple to swap between them and buy/sell.

Two factor authentication becomes mandatory when you take out cash products, but then you can still use linked accounts.

Wife has no interest whatsoever.
My son will do it alongside me using his money that was left to him by his nan. She left it him for a particular purpose and not to spend on 'stuff'. So I need to be able to know that that money remains secure as, knowing him as I do, he would be cashing it in for a better car biggrin
