I would check the comma oil website to make sure its correct for the car. You are not ment to mix differant types

Prestone and jovs( the one in the link) says they mix with all coolant. But they don't state what grade they are. Which is annoying.

Halfords usually stock comma in the correct grade, i would use that over anything unknown from amazon.

Rather than risk mixing, I generally fully drain, flush with water & fill with the correct type for the car.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was water with red food dye. It could be fine of course, but is it worth risking a cracked engine block?

Comma are a pretty reliable brand to be fair, not sure on the quality though. Never had any issues personally with their stuff.

This.

If you can replace a water pump then flushing out with garden hose or refilling and draining a few times is well within your capabilities, and much safer than risking gunging up coolant passages. Plus you can make lewd comments about twisting your pet cock.

Contrary to horror stories on the internet it's perfectly fine to flush through with tap water as the mineral content of any residual water isn't going to be enough to be a concern. It's not a kettle that's being refilled all the time.

Agree entirely, would have no issues trusting Comma. I was referring to the super cheap coolant on Amazon as being something I wouldn't feel confident using.

Been using it (10L) for 6 months in a mini with a slow leak, seems to be fine. Just ordered more.
