Honda VFR800X Crossrunner (2015) The Ultimate V4 All-Rounder

Location: Camberley, Surrey (GU16)
Price: £2990

Whether you re looking for a bulletproof daily commuter, a long-distance continent crusher, or a weekend weapon for the twisties, this Crossrunner is ready for its next chapter. As a Honda V4, it is famously over-engineered and built to last a lifetime. It's also the 2nd generation Crossrunner - superior suspension with updated styling.

The Highlights
  • Full Service History (FSH) with massive documentation. I've owned the bike for all but 800 miles of its life and it includes pictures of the big valve check service at 32k miles.
  • Fabulous V4 Engine: Smooth power and easy power delivery for touring, with an intoxicating soundtrack and a surge of character when you wind it on.
  • Touring Ready: This bike has taken me to the Picos, Pyrenees, Dolomites and the Highlands. It s as stable at motorway speeds as it is agile in mountain hairpins.
The Package (Included Extras)
  • Full Hard Luggage: Includes the very rare matching panniers and top box.
  • Screen Options: Three different screens included so you can dial in your preferred wind protection.
  • Hand Guards
  • Heated Grips
  • Centre Stand
  • Under Seat USB Ports
  • Akrapovic Exhaust: Reduces weight and looks great.
  • Original Parts: Comes with the original exhaust and original rear pillion hand grips.
Condition
This bike has been ridden and loved, not hidden away in a shed. While in good mechanical condition, there are some dings from its time in the London motorbike bays:
  • A dent in the fuel tank.
  • Scratches on the tail unit.
  • Surface corrosion on the engine casing.
The bike has an MOT until September 2026 - currently SORN

All cosmetic points are clearly documented and I'm happy to share photos. Alternatively got to the Gumtree Ad.

NB: It was a CAT N write off about eight years ago. That was purely cosmetic (ding in tank etc) but you should be aware that is the case.

I ve priced the bike to reflect the above. If you value mechanical integrity, legendary Honda reliability, and a bike that is genuinely "all-day comfortable," this is it.
