I know it’s only one race but I’ve been very impressed by him. Couldn’t really have asked for a better debut weekend. If this carries on, Lawson should be very worried.

Yeah could be best of the rest but Lawson ain't all that.

Linblad in lower formula has shown me he isn't so good at battling race craft and has not been the fastest driver in all the spec series he's been in...

But F1 is very different to all that.

This guys looks a real deal. I expect him to outscore Lawson this season with a fair margin.

He is 18 none driver is the complete package so soon.

But I am sure you know more about him than the people who put him in the car.

He s doing well and it amuses me in a reasonably irrelevant way how at least three nations will want to claim him as their own.

He has Swedish and Indian roots and has grown up in the U.K., with a clear British accent in interviews. The Swedish language Viaplay F1 commentators I listen to can never seem to mention his name without calling him ”Swedish speaking Arvid Lindblad” and I bet the Indians don’t waste the opportunity to call him one of them either.

Well anyway, he looks like he is good enough to hold onto the seat so let’s see how long it takes the Red Bull senior team to destroy his career with a promotion to sit beside Verstappen.

He’s going to do well in this horse ste era we’re in now. He needs to try not to crash into the ‘hierarchy’ too much, and remember where he is in the ‘hierarchy’. ‘Rebels’ don’t prosper in this era, in my opinion. If he keeps clean, and does as he’s told, he will rise to the top fairly quickly. If he forgets himself, it might not go so well. Such is life in this game now.

Isn't he another rich kid who's parents could fund all the way to Formula One?

Yep, again par for the course now. On a personal level I can t tolerate him, but he can pedal a car, there s no doubt about it.
