Hi, the description mentions May 2024 and May 2025 services, can you upload the invoices of works?

When was the a/c last serviced and regassed? Thanks

Also doesn’t seem to ever had the spark plugs changed looking at the service history? Do you have any knowledge if spark plugs replaced?

Thank you for your enquiry.

I can't find paper work associated with the 2024 and 2025 services but recall they were oil services prior to the MOT. The vehicle was barely used as you can see from the MOT certificates mileage data between 2021 and 2024.

I can't find any evidence in the paperwork that the spark plugs have been changed or that the aircon has been recharged. The aircon continues to operates effectively.

Hope that helps.

So looking at the service history, this car has really just had oil services, it hasn’t stuck to the Porsche Recommended, spark plugs every 4, Brake Fluid every 2, Drivebelts every 6, and manual gearbox oil every 12, A/C every 2 yrs. The only major I can see is with DiaVollo who I have never heard of, do you have copy of their bill?

The tyres look mixed brands, is that correct? Many thanks

Thank you for your questions.

For Divaollo the paperwork I have relates to the the original sales invoice.

The paperwork and service books photos indicate the services undetaken and document component replacements including drive belt, water pump, fuel pump.

The tyres are a set, Yokohama.

Hope that helps.

20 year old tyres and you're worried about the brands...?

Looks like a nice tidy car that will give the owner a lot of summer fun.

Then bid on it then K… I didn’t read the 20 year old comment until now. Mixed brands show normally a carefree attitude to maintenance, bought enough cars to know..

Yes nice car, the car is low mileage but due to its sporadic and minimum major services, it will need straight away a major service, spark plugs, brake fluid, air con condensers + regas, drive belt replacement, manual gearbox oil change, 4 new tyres and new wheel bolts before you check out the car clutch and rear disks.. so bid away.

Your perspective is noted, and one of the benefits of PH is that experienced voices like yours are part of the discussion.

That said, for the benefit of potential buyers, we ask all comments to focus on specifics and avoid assumptions unless there’s direct knowledge of the vehicle.

Our listings are fully transparent, and buyers have access to all the tools, photos, description, questions, and in-person viewings to form their own view.

This person is clearly an expert and has absolutely every idea what they're talking about, everybody listen to them and not bid on the car...

...so I can get it myself (it looks very nice and I'm obviously joking, this guy is clueless)

Not at all, just prefer people to ask questions on the car than just crack jokes and not bid, my questions are to help myself and others. Porsche clearly has a service time over mileage policy on these cars and this car is 21 years old. I put in a bid to count for the missed schedule other bidders will have different criteria and I do not expect my future final bid to win. Shall I ask the car questions and you crack the jokes on the SLK 55 as well?

You're not asking car questions though, are you? You're asking bored tyre-kicker questions. Wondering why the spark plugs haven't been replaced on a 30k-mile car as if it's a grave disservice to the engine, or claiming the condensers and clutch will need replacing?! Or, since you mentioned a different auction, why the SLK55 chap removed his badge, and was it when the rear was repainted to hide imaginary damage (in your own little imaginary scenario where the bodyshop just forgot to reattach it. Was that from a film by any chance?).

This is a public forum first and foremost, and I'm afraid that does rather mean nobody is under any obligation to treat your contributions with the gravity you seem to feel they deserve. Particularly when they betray such a, shall we say, limited familiarity with the subject matter.

I did briefly consider replying seriously fwiw. But your comments were so beyond the pale that I struggle to imagine even the most casually informed prospective bidder giving them a second thought. A joke felt like the more respectful option, if anything.
