Brembo calipers - uneven pad wear

I have a set of 4 pot brembos on the L322 RR (they were refurbed about 1 year ago) and have just checked the pads - the NSF are a lot more worn then the OSF? Anybody know why this might happen....?

That side has to deal with more grit and junk than the other. Are your dust shields still fitted?
