Apologies in advance for posting so many questions here lately (but its for a good cause!)

Regarding the corrosion issue observed with many of the A110 production over the years, I ve read somewhere that the cars that came in Alpine Blue, were somehow more affected. I would like to know how much trust stands in that, as to me doesn't make much sense. I mean, chemical composition should be identical, if we consider metallic paints

I was initially considering the Gris Tonnerre (gray) option, as I also really like it (its more elegant)
But lately, having seen several cars in Alpine Blue, I m in a bit of a dilemma
But if the consensus is that Alpine Blue is more likely to present corrosion in the future, then I d rather steer away from it

It may be the case that most A110s sold in Alpine Blue - hence the more 'occurrences'? I don't know

Tough choice indeed

But if going blue, then there's also this possibility (bit more costly also for rims):

it's 'elegance' vs 'heritage'

Have to consider how it looks in different conditions e.g. sunny weather - Blue metallic has something extra to it
But I totally think Peon Blue is the best when it comes to Blues. Looks a class above. But I want to go metallic, so not an option...

I'm pretty sure this is the explanation.

Colors are always a very personal decision.

However I would prefer a well visible color for a small car, which is probably quicker driven, than others expect. wink
Grey may be very stylish, but it is also a kind of camouflage color.

Agree, think the corrosion can be on any colour..... on that subject personally any of the blues (hence my Abyss) or also I think white suits it too (especially with the Carbon roof option) but then i'm not brave enough, if I was I'd have the orange or yellow!!I have just been bold enough to PPF over the driving lights for that French 60's vibe though and very pleased with the result too.

I guess that gray is the launch color for GTS. I had the impression Alpine stylists wanted to try something new while the production is nearing an end.

All the colors I see live on an A110 was really looking very nice albeit didn't see that gray.

Unless you want extra contrast, regardless of the body color, black wheels are better aligning with the dark badges. And body colored (or matching) calipers are aligning even better biggrin

After all these questions, you must post some photos once your car is delivered.

I'd get a move on if ordering new as there are no build slots left for entry A110 and only a handful of GTS build slots available with a cut off of tomorrow, there may be some in flexibility though.

My appointment is today

2 order slots available, so looks like, if everything goes well, I ll be having one of the last ones to leave the factory smile

@Richard Piggott
That yellow-ish tint looks very fitting
What PPF did you go for? Did they told you it will last long term? (because of the extra 'heat')

@extinct Go for it just order one, no regrets!
Re the PPf its actually just an adhesive film readily available online, comes off easily so I can redo it if necessary....
