Hi all. Havn't been on this forum for yonks. Was pretty active this time last year when I just about to take the plunge and buy a Tam. At the 11th hour I was lured away by a new Porsche.
Just sold the porker, so we're back in business.
I think Tamoras are one of the best looking cars I've ever seen and determined to get one.
The porsche was £45k and the nose dive I took in depreciation has left me reluctant to spend that sort of cash again.
Basically, if I limit my self to £20k'ish will I be just asking for trouble? Am I better off with a Chim for that sort of dosh?
I'm your hands here! Thanks in advance.

I've got one that I was thinking of selling but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
It's probably worth the kind of dosh you talk about (there's plenty of Tams for circa £20-£22k these days) and mine has been 100% reliable over the last year and therefore, I wouldn't necessarily let age put you off. Most Tamora owners on here are pretty happy and would recommend their car to anyone. They do need looking after more than your Porsche would have done. Regular fluid check ups are essential for example.
Do some searches and you'll see what caveats apply to these cars, but speaking from my own experience, I'd recommend seeing as many as you can...and then go and get one!
