+5% for me in Flintshire, which is now the same as my mortgage payments.

Bins collected on a three weekly basis.

6.8% here in Aberdeen. Not great, though better than Aberdeenshire that got hit with I believe 10%.

Hi neighbour!

2.9% overall for me. Impressed that Harborough District Council have managed a 9.8% reduction. Also amazed that our parish council charge is almost the same as what the district council charge!?! Must go have a look at the solid gold dustbins on the rec...

5% for me in Bristol. The local environment and services are appalling. I'm fine with the parts going to the emergency services . Annoyed when the council claim they're skint yet spend £3m to "improve" a perfectly working round about, £820K to close a road which doesn't need closing and they reduce recycle rates at the same time telling their population to increase what we recycle.

Im getting older and more miserable. I put a Microwave in the big black bin last week. Hopefully it gets collected next week, if they can be bothered. Its underneath 2 weeks worth (of a two indoor cat household) of a cat crap with some spark plugs and coil packs . So they can dig it out if they want. I stopped short of putting a car battery in there as I didnt want to be on the news for starting a fire.

Ill have to take time off work, fill a form in, give my car registration and show ID to get rid of that

And the leicestershire police charge went up by 5%, didn't give us the one back from a few years ago when they asked us if we'd like to raise it in exchange for more officers, then didnt get the officers.

We need a national body whose job is to scrutinise council expenditure and fine individuals responsible for wastage.

You can view every item of expenditure on spreadsheets via your council website.

I read someone claim a council spends £100k+ a year educating one SEND child.

Another council are paying monthly mobile phone (not broadband) bills of £20,000 a month.

Post 2004 one council was paying the rent on 3x houses for a family of Eastern Europeans. 15 family members, including the deaf grandparents! One worked part time, so the entire family were eligible for benefits. I saw an email confirming this happened.

It's utterly disgusting.

6.9% in East Ayrshire and Garden Waste increased from £40 to £47.50 per bin. Water & Sewage increased 8.9% but as you say it's included in the overall council tax bill

At least you’ll have a nice 30 ft wide pavement along the Portway you can have a walk on whilst admiring all the cars stuck in the traffic queue
