A former colleague bought one of the limited edition numbered ones they did when they released them. He pre-ordered it i think after seeing something about them at EICMA. It looked pretty good in person, I only saw it once as there are a few jobsworths types at work about where motorcycles are parked regardless of how easy they are to lift up and put in the back of a van. Many years ago a colleague had a £1K+ mountain bike stolen from the bike shed.

They can they just don’t want to. It’s a terrible situation but that’s where we are and have been for a number of years with the police.

A watch dealer near me got jumped in the street, violently assaulted and robbed. He gave the police loads of really good information but they didn’t lift a finger to do any investigation.

As this is ‘only’ property they will do nothing.

Shocking viewing and not the work of a few moments. The cops must have been aware of the raid happening even if they weren't able to get there in time to catch the feckers.

Tbh, I've always wondered why scrotes risk breaking into people's garages, defeating unknown security, and risk getting beat half to death by a random nutter owner, for 1 bike. When bike shops always looked like a much easier target.

It seems they have started to wonder the same thing.

That and that they know the police are unlikely to turn out, the police are unlikely to investigate it and if the police do catch them it'll be years before any trial and even if they're convicted it'll be a short stay in prison.

In trying to justify restricting access to Jury Trials Lawyer David Lammy said that a sentence of three years or less is like going to hospital with a scratch and not seeing a consultant.

It's the same as you or I, or anybody else filtering in traffic, it's a risk Vs reward, numbers game, a calculated risk.

Look at the videos on YouTube from the tracker company and them phoning up the police and telling them they've located a stolen KTM 1290 Adventure in the back of a parked Transit on some housing estate. Having located the stolen bike it then seems another load of work to deal with the police and getting them to attend.
