One of the girls who works for me does this every January. It is obvious how much better she is afterwards. Fitter (both senses of the word), better complexion, happier, friendlier. I saw these benefits and had a go myself but temptation got the better of me and I fell to the influence of red wine within a few days.

I put 'detoxing' in the same bag as 'home makeover'. What are these toxins, exactly, that we are all suddenly supposed to have?

By this do you mean giving up booze?

I'm slowly having this forced upon me. Bloody liver. Give it all the exercise it could ever need and what does it do? Arse.

Hopefully not but I have a feeling it might be one of the conditions attached to detoxing.

If so, I will not be detoxing for a long length of time.

its worth it mate, just try it for a couple of weeks. eat plenty of veg and fruit, and only water. you'll be visibly radiant and full of lustre and shine. not to mention you'll be sleek and controllable, and no longer flyaway.

plus if nothing else, when you switch back to beer and crisps they taste like gods food.

I did it for a month after I was sick. I felt great.

And falling back off the wagon was brilliant
