Sainsbury's better than half price

I have a delivery order placed for 21st March. What that does is show me offers that you can purchase on that day that are not yet available.
They are doing a couple of things that seem crazy

The leg of lamb is usually that price or cheaper at most retailers every easter. Lidl / Aldi tend to have it the cheapest.

We usually stock up with half a dozen and freeze them.

Looks like Sainsbury is getting ahead of the game this year.

What is annoying is they don't discount the half legs. I have in the past bought a couple of legs and cut them in half with a knife and hacksaw. Those beef joints with be diced up and used for curries, cheaper than buying diced beef in crappy vacuum packs.

The offer is not available yet, Sainsbury's is showing me the offers available on the date of my delivery.
