Pressure Washer Fault

Anyone know much about pressure washers?
Lent my low-use Nilfisk 120 to a neighbour. Next time I went to use it, it was runninmg at low pressure. Anyone have any ideas on what to hit first?
It does work, in that it switches on, when you pull the trigger, water comes out but it's more like pointing a hose at it rather than a lance. There's just no oomph. No 'kick' to the lance that there used to be.
I've cleaned the inlet filter though it wasn't too dirty. Taking the high pressure hose off the lance does show an increase in volume when turned on but it's not by much.
Before I rtandomly start pulling it to pieces, anoyone experienced similar?

if you have good flow rate going in , check for any obvious leaks inside the washer , can you hear any abnormal noise ( worth just unscrewing the case )

I know you have checked the filter, but I once had an issue with the inlet just behind the filter. The metal part had corroded or calcified. I just scraped it clean and all has been well since.
Of course the other issue could well be frost damage it it has been left with water in it and been left in cold shed.

I had this with this model, it got to pressure but when squeezing the trigger it went to hose pressure. It also happened mid-patio so wasn’t a lending issue 
T’internet told me it was a pressure valve which is a common fault and having dismantled it to check everything else and tried turning on/off over, a couple of days it was moved to the corner of the garden and a new one bought.
It is still there waiting an easy fix which hopefully this thread will bring

No Electric pressure washer is "built to last" , lucky if you see 5 years with weekly use .
fed up having had K5/ K7 karchers both fail , bit the bullet and bought a second hand ex hire Honda GX 340 £300 best decision I've ever made , had it serviced for £80 4 years ago .

I thought Nilfisk were the be all and end all of pressure washes. It's about the only thing anyone recommends when someone asks.
Mines been going strong since 2017. Replaced a split hose once, and the wand. I religiously discharge the water from inside of it at the end of each use as per the manual (turn hose tap off and run it until no water comes out). Something tells me many people don't do this.

I've still got the Karcher I purchased about 20 years ago. Not exactly weekly use, but it gets plenty of outings. Maybe they don't make them like they used to. fed up having had K5/ K7 karchers both fail , bit the bullet and bought a second hand ex hire Honda GX 340 £300 best decision I've ever made , had it serviced for £80 4 years ago .
