Had a bleed in my brain.
Discussion
I’ve got a Cavernoma which has been bleeding.
Ambulance after calling 111, MRI. Amazing care at the hospital.
It’s caused slurred speech, can’t think of the right words, exhaustion and terrible eye hand coordination (Typing this is a real tester)
Very down. I’m 53 and loved going to the gym.
Feeling like I won’t ever be the same person again.
Positive is no seizures.

My wife had similar aged 22, collapsed at work, her co-workers saved her life as they got her to the hospital quickly enough. Coma for a couple of days, but she made a full recovery. She is 52 this year.
Important thing is they caught it and you are in the right place now. Very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I can only imagine how you must feel.
Your brain will have a degree of neural functional plasticity and with some rehab and time I'm sure you'll be back training and living a good life.
It just doesn't seem like it now. Just take a day at a time and keep posting.
You mention the gym, so guess you’re fairly fit and healthy overall? I had a major accident a few years back, broke my neck, both shoulder blades, 11 ribs, fractured my skull and had a major bleed on the brain. My physical fitness saved me according to the doctor. It took about 3 months for the bones to heal and another 6 months for the bleed on the brain to heal and any scarring to be absorbed.
I know it feels like the end right now, but in a few months you’ll hopefully be out the other side and wondering what all the fuss was about.
