Discussion
Looks like the Norwiegen Consumer council are hitting back the trend for everything to get customer service, product quality, everything is rented, nothing really owned, and the trend for enfaecalisation (they used a different term that would fail the ph swear filter).
And I for one agree with them

A huge part of ens
ttification comes from hardware that is marketed like software:
Don't engage in such business models to make them go away.
ttification comes from hardware that is marketed like software:- car comes with heated seats as standard, but you have to subscribe or pay by use
- EV motorcycle comes with "100%"-battery, but you have to pay to unlock "120%" or carry the weight of battery you can't use
- vehicle contains data interface for remote connecting, but it's locked to manufacturer's cloud which you have to pay a subscription for
- motorcycle airbag vest has different usage profiles in controller, but you have to subscribe to each on top of the one-time cost. ie. no subscription = no product function
- you can alternatively buy each usage profile for a higher sum, but you have to buy it again when you need to replace that worn-out physical airbag detection module
Don't engage in such business models to make them go away.
