actually, to be more accurate, I think it is ONE of them. It looks similar (though not the same) at any rate to the one in the driver side footwell.
Some say that different diagnostic reads are done through the different sockets to be found, but my understanding is that, with the correct tool, you can read all diagnostic information through a single socket.
It's harder to get the pre-OBDII scan tools I believe though (probably because there is no standard).

I think Sykes Pickavant do a reader, but this is second hand info.
Some online companies might tell you that the 3200GT is OBDII compliant, but as far as I can see it is not.
I'm after a scan tool myself to save the 2 hour round journey to my nearest dealership for diagnostic checks; if I can find one then I will let you know.
FYI, I have the espautomotive scan tool and s/w but this is not suitable.
