I have a tvr tamora and going to replace the CV joint
They are 108 mm x 32 mm with 28 splines
ACV1005 on at the moment
As far as I can find out they were from a ford sierra and Granada
If these are correct
Motaclan part are below
Tvr part is TVR R0040
Also do you do Rear hub output flange
Tvr part TVR R0038
Dont know, buit asked Gemini AI, is this any use ?

Maintaining a TVR Tamora requires a bit of detective work since they are famous for being "parts bin" masterpieces—specifically drawing from Ford’s performance catalog for the drivetrain.
CV Joint (TVR R0040 / ACV1005)
You are correct on the dimensions. The 108mm outer diameter and 28-spline internal count are the standard "large" CV joints used across the TVR T-Class cars (Tuscan, Tamora, T350) and the Cerbera/Chimaera/Griffith range.
Origin: These are indeed derived from the Ford Sierra Cosworth and Ford Granada (2.9/V6 models).
Alternative Reference: In the wider automotive world, these are often referred to as Porsche 930-style joints (GKN/Lobro).
Quality Tip: Given the torque a TVR puts out, avoid the "no-name" budget kits often found on eBay. Stick with GKN (Lobro) or reputable specialists like Motaclan or TVR Parts. The cheaper versions often use inferior metal for the internal "star," which can shear under hard acceleration.
Rear Hub Output Flange (TVR R0038)
The TVR R0038 is the Left Hand (N/S) rear hub output flange.
Cross-Compatibility: While the CV joints are shared with Ford, the hub output flanges on the Tamora are often a TVR-specific modification or a bespoke part to match their specific upright and bearing carrier setup.
Where to find it: You likely won't find a direct "off-the-shelf" Ford part number for the R0038 flange like you can for the CV joint. Motaclan (the official TVR heritage parts supplier) generally has these in stock.
Important Check: Ensure you are getting the correct side. In the TVR parts catalog:
R0038: Rear Hub Flange - LH (Nearside)
R0039: Rear Hub Flange - RH (Offside)
Summary Table for Parts
Component TVR Part No. Spec / Dimension Common Equivalent
CV Joint R0040 108mm x 32mm (28 Spline) Ford Sierra Cosworth / Porsche 930
Output Flange R0038 LH (Nearside) TVR Bespoke (Buy from Motaclan/TVR Parts)
Output Flange R0039 RH (Offside) TVR Bespoke (Buy from Motaclan/TVR Parts)
