Hi, looking to get some blinds for Velux. I like the idea of Duo blind which gives an option of blackout as well as reduced light. If anyone has these, can you pls let me know if the blackout is complete. Looking at one of the online videos the blackout blind doesn't reach all the way to bottom of window and thus let's on light.

Thanks
J

We've got these on a velux in our ensuite and would say it is 99% blackout. Even in mid summer i can't think I've ever noticed light getting through. Never use the partial shade though, so if I were buying again I'd just get the blackout one rather than duo.

We've got the Duo in the study area, black out is pretty good, we use Duo function quite a bit as it allows a different level of light control.

We’ve got them, they do black out very well, can’t say I’ve noticed any light getting through. Would also recommend the solar remote electric option, great little addition to open and close the blinds electronically or if you buy the additional module, via app, scheduling etc.

The shade portion concertinas down and does a pretty good job of being black out.
