BMW M8 gearbox shifting into neutral

Has anyone had any issues or experience with dealing with BMW over M8 series cars having wiring issues with the transmission loom? There does seem to have been a recall and rectification of US vehicles built between 2019/2020 but I don t think BMW UK have done the same.
The loom is routed in the cars affected close to a heat source and secured with clips that can cause a short in the loom which can mean the gearbox shifting into neutral randomly.. obviously a major safety issue!
