360F1 beeping at me

When in stop start traffic for long periods of time I get a beeping when pulling away in 1st and 2nd gears. It’s the same beep I get when in reverse. It feels like the clutch is slipping since the beep stops when the car speed matches the engine revs. Any ideas what this means?
Its fine in 3rd upwards or when at normal speed in 2nd. I only get the problem when I’m pulling away slowly or feathering the throttle in slow moving traffic.
Also, when going backwards with the steering at full lock there is some fluid leaking onto the right hand exhaust manifold which is causing quite a lot of smoke.
I deliberately say “going backwards” as opposed to “in reverse” because on Saturday I was doing a 3 point turn on a slope and I let the car roll backwards in neutral with the steering on full right hand lock and still saw smoke. Up until that point I’d only noticed it happening with the car in reverse gear. Any ideas?
Edit: I assume the latter problem may be related to the fact that I lost all of my hydraulic steering fluid recently. However I topped it up and it hasn't gone down much since.

had my 360 F1 clutch and clutch bearing done at an Indi for about £1200 (included engine bay clean, leather treatment and fully waxing the car).
JCT wanted about £2k without VAT
The beeping is to warn of clutch over-heating, doesn't specifically mean that it is worn to excess. I got that after being stuck in London traffic for an hour. Did another 2k miles before replacing clutch.
Verdi did mine for £1200-, and he can plug computer in to tell you what current clutch wear is (mine was 78%).
The other thing he told me when I queried if I would need a new clutch was that when it needs changing you will find that the car jumps out of gear sporadically, which happened to mine about a month after he'd told me I was at 78%.

Yeah, veryb happy, mine went to Italia AutoSport in Yorkshire, its John Pogson, really nice guy and all the work that they have done on my car has been superb !

Best advice always put it in neutral at lights
Yup. I always put it in neutral every time it's stationary. Even if it's just for 5-10 seconds in stop start traffic.

That's good to know. I've only had it two months and it had a new clutch shortly before I bought it so I'd be surprised if it had gone already. I was in traffic for about half an hour and this only happened for the last 5-10 mins so it sort of tallys with what you're saying.
