All so pointless, sure someone thinks they are striking a blow for something, as it is they have just destroyed hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of what is medical equipment, bizarre.
Why would a Jewish charity have its own ambulances ? I always thought ambulances were all owned and operated by the NHS as a whole ? guessing they are more for getting elderly folk to hospital and the like rather than front line emergency work ?

On why they have their own ambulances "Hatzolah, which owns the ambulances, is a large non-profit volunteer organisation that provides Jewish people with emergency medicine and transport to hospitals for free."
I heard a rabbi on the news this morning saying they are used for all sorts of other communities.
The people who did this are just criminal thugs.

Either way, whatever they did the NHS Ambulances will need to pick up the slack to the detriment of everyone. Shocking.

In areas with large Jewish communities they also turn up to emergency work too as I think families contact them as well as 999. This is really disgusting. I hope they track down the culprits although suspect they will get away with it.
Hatzolah is a really good service run by volunteers. They have helped my parents out in the past and got them to hospital when the national service would have taken over an hour to do the same job.
In addition, they will help anyone regardless of their religion. It's not just a service for Jewish people.

There are dozens (probably hundreds) of private ambulance services in the country. Most are for-profit and do patient transfers, event work etc, but some are charities like Hatzola. All are legally permitted to transport patients on the road on blue lights if required.Why would a Jewish charity have its own ambulances ? St John Ambulance (guess what religion they are affiliated with) provide 999 paramedic response services in some areas, under NHS contract.
