Always fancied one of these so picked up the Lidl offering yesterday at £40.

So far looks pretty nice quality, with some heft to it. The safety buttons you have to push before actuating are a bit of a pain but it looks to be quite a bargain for £40 and with 3 year guarantee what is there to lose?

These are perfect for a try before you buy tool.
Cheap enough that if you never use it, no great loss. If you find you are using it all the time and cant be without its then easy to justify getting one of the big brands at a considerable increase in cost.

Our friend is essentially a posh handy man

He’s go into the right circles and is earning decent money in semi retirement

He used to run de Walt stuff, however he is slowly going across to park side

Does everything he needs and he feels much happier leaving it in the back of his estate car over night

I just say it does seem impressive value

Guess it’s all to do with economy of scale

My son bought this and a 70 quid nut gun from Amazon, both impressive, we put the big bar on my shed alloys, and the nut gone removed then easily, 2 batteries with it too.

Can't remember the name but it is Makita coloured .

I bought one of these because I regretted not buying one last time they had them in. I had a job to do yesterday, but by the time it had charged up I was putting it all back together and I didn't want to get used to it in a spot where I might overdo things. It won't be long before I've got something else to try it on.

I thought that, I guess they'll be a thing to get used to.

I wondered about that, but one of the reasons I bought this one rather than a cheaper eBay one was because of the warranty, so I'll have to remember where I put the bits so it can be reinstated.

I bought one on Ebay, then received a message a month or two later to say the charger was a fire risk and I should return the whole thing for a refund. Still got it and will charge it outside as I do the Lipos for my models.
