Hi,

Anyone here use Thriva or a similar company? Basically its home blood tests that you carry out every few months and they keep an eye on things and I assume on the lookout for any nasties. Just interested in people’s opinions, I’m taking my health and fitness a lot more seriously these days and thought potentially it’s a good tool to stay on top of things.

I have. It's useful, but they do suck you in with subscriptions. I used Thriva and found the peace of mind on a lot of stuff was really helpful.

I've started using it recently. It is handy to keep an eye on the things you want to and the range of tests they do are pretty extensive. You also get a doctors report when you get your results to give you a steer on anything you should be keeping an eye on. It is subscription based but you can choose to test every 3/6/12 months and decide what you want to test whenever you like. You can completely cancel anytime as well from the dashboard.

The blood collection method they use is handy as well. You stick the device to your arm and attach the tube and just press the button and it does it all for you.

I'd echo what Smitters said. It does seem to be something for the "worried well" and I don't think you need the subscription if your numbers come back "normal"

What can and do test for? tbf I have no health concerns and the lasts bloods I had were all fine but imo it’s the unseen little changes that you can make lifestyle adjustments for that make an overall big difference. Do they include psa and cancer markers?! Doom and gloom I know but thought I’d ask!
