Specifically for metal.

I’ve got a cheapish table and chairs that are a bit rusty in bits.

I’ll get most of it off but what paint can I use to cover / rustproof them?

Hammerite or similar, will peel off in a few years time but just rub down and re -paint. We have a table in one corner still going strong that way.

Bizarrely I painted a couple of old metal chairs in Cuprinol (garden shades) a few years back and its still holding up, better than on the wood surfaces.

We used Rustolem, holding up well.
