What diagnostic scanner
Discussion
Been helping a chum with his Peugeot rifter van, been having all sorts of issues with the brake lights
We initially tried our trusty obd2 scanne linked to the phone, no faults, so started diagnosing stuff in a traditional manner
Eventually it got taken to a garage, the chap plugged in a launch obd2 reader connected via Bluetooth to an iPad, he cii see lots of live data and sent my mate away with a suggestion of trying a new brake pedal
What sort of reader does one need to see live data on things like windows, brake pedals, locks etc
Ideally linked to a phone / iPad rather than an all in one job
Would be a good tool for troubleshooting
Many thanks

A good & (reasonably) expensive one.I have a £300 (ish) Foxwell that will do all of that.
There may be, but I don't know of an app that will do all that but could be wrong.
A BT/phone type is just the interface, it would be the App on the phone/laptop that interprets the data.
