Help door solanoid not working

My passenger central locking door solanoid is not working on either the alarm or central button. I have done the usual and sprayed liberal amount of WD40 but still no good also manually moved it up and down and no good.

Now the question how the hell do you get it out of the car, I have looked for ages and consulted the bible but just can't see how it is removed. I'm sure I'm missing sonething obvious but can't see it so happy to take advise on this as I'm unable to lock the car??? and realy need to get it out to test electrics and replace is required.

The carpet inline with the latch should be on velcroe,look behind and all should be revealed.
Off memory the blue soliniod is the central locking.
If you need to take it out you'll need to take out the whole housing(undue the three allen key bolts above and below the latch) as the soliniods are screwed in from behind.

Just in case that's not clear, he's talking about the vecro'd flap behind the seat, next to door, just behind your shoulder when you're sat in the car, behind the door latch. A section of carpet folds up to reveal the cavity that the gubbins are in.

The location of this was common knowledge when the Chim had push buttons behind the door rather than electronic poppers in the mirrors - mainly as the rods operating the door mech on the older cars falls out and/or jams,so its a need to know thing.

Thanks for all the advise picked up the new solanoid and guess what tvr have changed the connector type sooooo some cutting and soldering of wires and I'm all done with door locking again.

Even more chuffed as TVR dealer want £150 in labour??
