I will be at Zolder next weekend and I'm interested in knowing more about the Britcar series. I've been to eerc.co.uk, but couldn't find much on what cars will be racing that weekend.
So, can anybody here help a girl out? :D

Thanks for the replies, guys. Looks like the Britcar and Belcar will go perfect together. I'll be keeping my eye out for that hunk of a driver in the paddock. But I've got to warn you, if I don't find one, all hell will break loose

Will be there as normal with the team (TopCatsRacing) looking forward to the trip and getting the two cars back on track in anger for the first time since the 24hr. Oh and enjoying a few beers......... well it's be rude not to!!

What a great weekend. The only thing missing was the rain we needed during the race. Even so 3rd overall pleased us given the competition. Couldn`t find a bar in the whole place that was prepared to take any money off us, (Belcar tent had beer on tap and was FOC, Belcar party Sunday night a real hoot and also FOC!

Good company - Bill Cameron, magnanimous in defeat, insisted in paying for our meal after the Britcar party.

The circuit it`s self was a lovely mix. 20,000 Belgians even turned up to wave us on as we went round ! This is how motor racing should be. Fun with a capital F !!

Congrats Henry! Excellent result. Looks like the TopCats Marcoses had a good weekend too, 2nd and 5th overall. I have read Steve Wood's report on the EERC site and it certainly looks like you guys were all made truly welcome. Perhaps somehow just half of the 20,000 Belgians could be persuaded to come over for next year's 24 hour and inject a touch more atmosphere!!

A huge tent with beer on tap and flowing like water or a glass of Pimms with some old fruit floating on top. Come on !! Who drinks Pimms anyway.

In fairness I suspect there is a fair chunk of money within the Belcar circus. Maybe everyone will get a free can of Vimto at Snetters.

If the tent is a problem they`ll run him up a tab down the Angel !

Good to meet you in Zolder; ironically in the beer tent !!! And congratulations on the Silver....

Unfortunately we had terminal mechanical failure in the Belcar race so packed our bags and made our way back to Blighty.

But great atmosphere and nice to see such a good crowd. Maybe we can import some for next year's 24hr race!!?

How cool would that be. Heavens knows how we met up in the beer tent, I was literally only in there for 30 seconds if that !

The same was true of the Belcar party on Sunday night. Myself, Pete, Bill (Cameron) and Barry (Horne) only went in because we thought thats where you got your licences signed. Again 30 seconds tops !! I`ve told the missus it was sheer hell out there battling the elements and the beaurocrats.
