General overview of buying property in Europe

Life for me has never been the same since Covid which was 5 years ago. I my own business but everything has been getting more difficult. I do not see anything in the UK getting better for a long time. I had a meeting with my financial advisor last week and I was told my mortgage WILL go up when my deal expires. I have been thinking about a change of life for a couple of years now. I have decided to sell my home and downsize and buy a holiday home. Since Covid I have not been abroad since 2019. Some weeks I worked seven days and stupid hours so I am out of touch on property prices, market resilience, taxes and rules for UK nationals buying property.

I understand I do not have many specifics at this time but my search starts now and just need a help in right direction. I was hoping for a general overview for Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Dubai? My Budget would be £200k cash buy. I like Italy but read a good post advising it is very corrupt which I did not know.
