VWFS - contract hire early termination

Looking to early terminate (3 months remaining) personal contract hire agreement with VWFS. When I’ve done this in the past, the early termination fee has been 55% of the outstanding rentals. Fine. This time, they are offering no rebate of rentals and a small cost of funds discount (buttons).
This seems a shift in policy from VWFS. The contract is woolly and essentially allows them to charge what they like. Doesn’t seem reasonable under a Regulated Agreement. If the policy is no rebate of rentals for early termination, the contract should state it. Anyone had recent experience of this?
