Motion Sensor Lighting for Keter Shed

Afternoon all,

Looking for some suggestions on a LED baton type light for my new shed.

I can run a 240V cable from the garage, but would rather avoid putting a switch in, so can anyone recommend a 5ft or 6ft LED light that is motion activated and had an adjustable timer i.e. stays on for 5 minutes. I think I can tie wrap it to the A Frame as pictured below.

Something like this will do it, if it's anything like dark in the shed then turning the sensor one way or another will no doubt work, and time is adjustable.

Thanks for the suggestion, that could work, although was hoping for an all in one unit such as -

Just not sure what the quality is like.

Not sure I understand how adding a switch is particularly onerous.

I wouldn't say onerous, but even screwing the switch itself to a thin plastic wall is not ideal with the risk of screws protruding the side.

Just rather avoid if I can.

Well this is what No More Nails was made for

Just add a PIR sensor before the light and attach to one of the metal trusses - easy to do and not reliant on the light having it integrated so you can choose the best location for the PIR, the best light for your purposes and gain control on the settings for how long it stays on etc.
